Task: Project branding; Podcast series production; Infographics, Report design, Visual communications
We ran an experiment in reflective learning during the Covid-19 pandemic and distilled certain attributes of resilient leadership from 16 weeks of conversations with our 12 participants and more than 75 hours of recordings. Participants were a diverse group of leaders, reflecting on the challenges they faced (in real-time) during the first months of the pandemic, so we could distil it into the insight and learn from it.
As the pandemic unfolded, key events and statistics such as lockdowns, pandemic intensity and number of cases were captured in infographics.
Transparency of the project was captured in the publication. The project timeline, outputs and how everything unfolded were made publicly available for anyone who would like to learn, replicate or adapt this methodology.
I was responsible for the production of over 20 podcast episodes, at least one episode per week, where hosts reflected on last week's insights from project participants. Some episodes had a special guest, like Christiana Figueres, a former UN Climate Change Executive Secretary. Below is a 'soundbite' from a podcast episode.
Another 'Learning from Crisis' project I participated in is a Cape Town Drought Response Learning Initiative. The CTDRLI was undertaken to learn from the 2017-2018 Cape Town water crisis. Together with Peter Willis (a project co-lead and narrator of the video), we created a short introduction video about the 2018 Cape Town drought and the CTDRLI project.
